THE SAFEGUARDING ADULTS BOARD MEMBERSHIP

CORPORATE STATEMENT

The Safeguarding Adults Board of Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire is a non - statutory body whose members on behalf of statutory agencies, the voluntary sector and independent providers have strategic responsibilities to oversee the development in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire of the safeguarding of vulnerable adults.

Members of the board within their own organisation will seek to support the strategic development of the safeguarding for vulnerable adults and will work together with partners to achieve the strategic aims.

The Safeguarding Adults Board, within its remit, provides training for relevant staff groups and briefing sessions for other interested parties.

The Safeguarding Adults Board has established sub groups to implement the safeguarding strategies in the form of:
